Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TOSTI HOLDING ApS (CVR 34739293), the company behind GoNect, is the data controller for personal data processed in the service. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect

• Account: email and password (stored securely, never readable by us).
• Person profile: first name, what you do, photo, interests, things you enjoy doing, availability, area and search distance.
• Host profile: place name, type, website, description, public address and photo.
• Activities you create, join or leave.
• Activity chat: your messages, sender identity, timestamps and which messages you have read.
• Optional activity feedback: your 1–5-star experience rating and comment, or your answer that you did not attend, linked to your activity and Person profile; invitation and response timestamps.
• Usage data: how the app is used, such as screens visited, filters chosen and joins.

3. Why we use it

To run your account, suggest relevant activities and people nearby, show your profile to other signed-in users, and keep the service secure. The legal basis is our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in improving the service.

4. Aggregated analysis and AI

We combine usage data into aggregated, anonymised statistics — for example which activity types are popular at which times. We may use these, including with AI tools, to improve matching, nudging and the flow of the app. Aggregated data cannot identify you and may be kept after your account is deleted.

5. Who can see your data

Only signed-in users can see profiles and activities. Your exact location is never shown — only your area and approximate distance. Photos are stored privately and shown via short-lived links. Activity chat is visible only to the organiser and currently joined participants; leaving removes access. We do not sell your data.

6. Processors

We use trusted providers for hosting, database, email and address lookup. These include Lovable (hosting and backend, running on Google Cloud), a transactional email provider, and LocationIQ for address lookup. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may only process your data on our behalf.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account from your profile, your profiles, photos, organised activities and participation are removed permanently. Your chat messages and read markers are also removed. A thread is deleted with its activity; after the activity ends it remains read-only for the organiser and joined participants until deletion. Feedback responses and personal invitations are removed when your Person profile or the activity is deleted. Invitation links expire after 14 days; responses are retained while the associated account and activity remain available. Your feedback is included in your data export.

Activity feedback

After an activity has ended, GoNect may send you one personal feedback invitation because you signed up for that activity. There are no reminders and no invitations for cancelled activities. Participation is voluntary. You may rate the experience or choose “I did not attend”; this answer is not included in the average rating. We know who signed up, not who actually attended.

We use feedback for internal pilot evaluation and improving activities, relying on our legitimate interest in evaluating and improving the service. Feedback is not anonymous: the invitation and response are linked to your account and activity. Only GoNect’s owner using the verified kto@gonect.pro account may read comments in the dashboard; other administrators, Hosts and private dashboard-link viewers receive only statistics for communities they may access. Please do not include other people’s names, health information or other sensitive personal details in comments.

The personal link requires no sign-in and allows one response. Anyone you forward it to could respond on your behalf, so please keep it private. You can object to this processing or request access, correction or deletion through support@gonect.pro. Email delivery, opt-out handling and hosting use our existing service providers; no external feedback-automation service is used.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
